Valley Fest 2027 runs Thursday 30 July – Sunday 2 August 2027 at The Community Farm, an organic farm overlooking Chew Valley Lake in Somerset — about 10 miles (20 minutes) south of Bristol.

Sat nav: The Community Farm, Denny Lane, Chew Magna, BS40 8SZ. There is a map and directions link on the homepage.

Entry gates open at 9am and close at 9pm every day. Exit gates stay open, so you can leave whenever you like.

Live music runs until 2am Thursday to Saturday and 1am on Sunday. The last acts on Sunday finish late across the stages — book Monday off!

All times are subject to change; final times are published closer to the festival.

Four days. Thursday is the gentle opener with the first acts and feasts, Friday and Saturday are the full programme across all four stages, and Sunday runs slightly earlier with a 1am finish. Weekend tickets cover all four days; day tickets are for one day only.

Four stages: the Lake Stage (headliners, sunset slots over the lake), SOS (DJs and late-night sets with Save Our Scene, until 2am), Kaleidoscope (emerging artists, folk, jazz and world) and Regeneration (talks, comedy, spoken word and farming's future). Around them: the feasts field, the lakeside wellness area, the kids' field, the market, bars, and the campsites.

Yes. All bars, traders and merch take card and contactless — we do not accept cash anywhere on site. Holding lots of cash in a field is a risk, and keeping everyone safe is a top priority. Bring a charged card or phone (there are phone-charging points by the info point).

Everyone on site needs a ticket, whatever their age — it all counts towards site capacity.

• All under 12s go free — add as many child tickets as you need inside the ticket builder once you have an adult ticket.
• 12–17s need a teen ticket (£49 for the weekend) and must be with a ticket-holding adult.
• Under-18s cannot attend alone.

Bring ID if you are lucky enough to look under 25 — bar service is always at the licensee's discretion. See the ticket builder.

Sorry, no. No animals are allowed anywhere on site, including in campervans and the live-in field. Registered assistance dogs are the only exception — please let us know in advance so we can plan for you.

Signal can be patchy — you are in a field, after all. There is no public WiFi. Download your tickets before you travel, and maybe enjoy the break from the internet.

We get muddy and carry on! The festival goes ahead whatever the weather. Pack wellies, layers and a waterproof — and maybe leave the white jeans at home. The ground on a farm gets uneven when wet, so all-terrain wheels are a good idea for buggies and trolleys.

Your ticket on your phone (downloaded), ID, a charged card or phone, a reusable water bottle, wellies and layers, sun cream, a torch, and — if camping — a tent, sleeping kit and a trolley for your gear. Don't bring glass, fires, BBQs, stoves, drones, animals or single-use plastic.

Yes. No single-use plastic anywhere. Bring a reusable water bottle — free refill points are everywhere — and festival cups and mugs are on sale on site.

Early-bird Priority Tickets for the full weekend (Thursday–Sunday, camping included):

• Tier 1 Adult Weekend — £99 (very limited)
• Tier 2 Adult Weekend — £125 (released when Tier 1 sells out)

Tier 1 is the cheapest Valley Fest 2027 will ever be — £26 less than Tier 2 for an adult, £100 less for a family. Under 12s go free and 12–17s are £49. Build your package at tickets. Day and combi tickets are announced later in the campaign.

Four quick steps: 1) Tickets — add adult tickets, then free child and £49 teen tickets appear inside the same box; 2) Camping — pick your free pitch and any upgrades; 3) Extras — parking, spa pass and feast seats at pre-sale prices; 4) Your order — check it and head to secure checkout. You can jump between steps using the progress bar, and your basket is saved on your device if you come back later.

All under 12s are free — add child tickets inside the ticket box once you have an adult ticket; there is no cap. 12–17s are £49 for the whole weekend, and must be with a ticket-holding adult.

Only through this website (tickets). Payment is by secure Revolut checkout — Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut Pay or card — and your tickets are emailed straight away. Beware of unauthorised resale sites.

Tickets are fully refundable until 1 June 2027, and fully transferable right up until the day — pass your ticket on by emailing us with the order reference and the new name. Full terms are in our ticket terms.

Transfers: yes — update the name in your ticketing account. Upgrades (for example adding camping upgrades, a teen ticket or extras later) are possible subject to availability — log back in or contact the ticket provider.

No — your phone is fine. Download the PDF or QR code before you travel, because signal on site can drop out at busy times. Make sure your screen is not cracked and your battery is not dead. Your ticket is swapped for a wristband at the gate.

E-tickets often land in spam or promotions folders — check there first. Otherwise log into the ticket agent's customer service with your order reference to re-send your confirmation, recover forgotten details or update your email address.

Yes — limited local tickets for BS39 and BS40 postcodes, adult tickets only. Enter your postcode on the ticketing page; proof of address and valid ID are required on entry.

If we have not sold out, yes — but on-the-day prices are higher than any advance tier, so booking ahead is cheaper and guaranteed.

In step 3 of the ticket builder: car parking £15 (save £5 on the gate price), a Wellness Spa Pass £25 (hot tub, sauna and ice bath for an hour, lakeside — save £10), and a Seat at the Feast £55 (3-course, chef-made, long-table organic dining — save £20). Camping upgrades are in step 2.

Yes. Groups of 10 to 1,000 get volume pricing (5% to 25% off tickets), one invoice and a dedicated contact through our corporate packages, which can include camping upgrades, team feasts, a branded base on site and private space hire. Bringing your own event, retreat or away day? See hosting.

Day tickets (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday) and two-day combi tickets are released later in the campaign, once the priority weekend tiers have gone. The £99 and £125 priority tickets are for the full weekend and are the lowest prices Valley Fest 2027 will ever be.

Yes — every weekend ticket includes free tent camping. In step 2 of the ticket builder you choose your free pitch: General (closest to the action), Family (quieter, near the car park) or Accessible (level pitches by accessible loos and showers). You can select more than one if your group is splitting up, or none if you are sorting your own accommodation.

General camping is closest to the arena and liveliest after dark. Family camping is quieter, nearer the car park, and calmer after midnight. Accessible camping has flat ground next to accessible facilities with space for essential vehicles. Pitches are first come, first served — arrive in convoy if you want to camp with friends, as we cannot reserve spots.

Yes, with a Camper Van & RV pass — £119, one per vehicle (trailer tents count). You get a dedicated live-in field, a chemical toilet disposal point and electric hook-ups available on site. Each pass allows one small tent alongside for children only — no adult tents in the live-in field (fire safety). Built-in campervan stoves are the only cooking allowed on site.

Premium Camp is a pre-pitched pre-pitched cabin tent — stand-up height, sleeps up to 4, with lake views — for £295 for the weekend. It is pitched and packed down for you; bring your own bedding, or add a double airbed for £45. Premium campers have their own field entrance with hot showers nearby.

Boutique Camp is a luxury bell tent with real beds, bedding, lighting and rugs, on a lakeside pitch: £495 for up to 4 people or £595 for up to 6. Boutique campers enter through their own gate and get full arrival info by email before the festival.

In step 2 of the ticket builder, once you have a weekend ticket in your basket. Add as many camper van passes, tent cabins or bell tents as your group needs — each has its own quantity control. Day tickets do not include camping, so the camping step is skipped for day-only baskets.

Plenty of loos (including accessible ones) and hot showers in every camping field, with blocks open and staffed 6am–6pm daily.

No fires, BBQs or camping stoves anywhere on site — the only exception is stoves built into campervans. Open flames and tents do not mix.

No — the tent fields are vehicle-free. Bring a trolley or wheelbarrow for your kit; you can go back to the car park for more after entering. There is no tent size limit.

Electric hook-ups are available for live-in vehicles as an add-on. In the tent fields there is no power; phone-charging points are by the info point in the arena. Bring a power bank.

Campsites open with the gates at 9am on Thursday 30 July (or on the first day of your ticket). Please pack up and leave by midday on Monday 3 August so the farm can get back to being a farm.

Yes, on site. £15 in advance through the ticket builder (£20 on the gate). One pass per vehicle for the whole festival. You can add a parking pass to an existing order later. Accessible parking is available — let us know your needs when you book.

Use the signed drop-off point, close to the camping fields — there is a dedicated taxi area. Local firms know the site; book your return in advance on busy nights.

Possible but limited. Trains run to Bristol Temple Meads, then local buses head towards Chew Magna — check the current timetable and hop in a taxi for the last stretch to the gate. We announce any festival shuttles closer to the time.

We love a cyclist — there is secure 24-hour bike parking by the drop-off point, and the lanes around Chew Valley Lake are beautiful. Bring lights for the ride home.

About 10 miles (20–25 minutes by car) south of Bristol, and roughly 15 miles (35 minutes) west of Bath, on the shores of Chew Valley Lake.

Food is a headliner here: live-fire cooking, chef demos, Michelin-starred dining, South West producers and brilliant street food — with stories from the people growing the future of farming. Much of it is grown yards from your plate on The Community Farm.

The Feasts are long-table, chef-hosted dinners in the fields — 3 courses, chef-made, organic — £55 a seat in advance (£75 on the day). Add a Seat at the Feast in step 3 of the ticket builder, or read more on the feasts page. Feasts run Thursday to Saturday; seating times are emailed before the festival.

Fine in the campsites, but not into the main arena — where our traders have every taste covered. Free drinking water is everywhere.

A personal-use amount for your campsite is allowed on first entry only. Once you are wristbanded, you cannot bring more in — and none in the main arena. No glass, please.

Loads of vegetarian and vegan options from South West traders, and most stalls offer gluten-free choices. Coeliacs should double-check with individual traders about cross-contamination. Feast menus can accommodate dietary needs if you tell us when you book.

Yes — refill points throughout the site. Bring a reusable bottle; we are zero-disposable-plastic.

Bars across the arena and by the stages serve local beers, ciders, cocktails and plenty of soft options — all card and contactless. Challenge 25 applies; bring ID.

Very. Workshops, activities, play areas and space to roam — all included in your ticket — and under 12s go free. The family campsite is quieter and close to the car park.

Crafts, storytelling, messy play, dance and graffiti workshops, and lakeside adventures in the dedicated kids' field — the full programme lands closer to the festival.

Yes — everyone needs a ticket for capacity, but all under 12s are free (added in the ticket builder with an adult ticket) and 12–17s are £49. Under-18s must be with a ticket-holding adult.

Yes — though the ground can be uneven, so all-terrain wheels are recommended. Trolleys are ideal for getting camping kit from the car park to your pitch.

The family campsite is quieter and close to the car park — no booking, just choose "Family" as your free pitch in the ticket builder and turn up. First come, first served.

Yes — baby-changing in the accessible toilet blocks and a quiet feeding space in the kids' field. Ask any steward and they will point you there.

We do our best — but it is a working farm, so ground can be uneven, especially in wet weather. Accessible toilets and showers are across the site and in the dedicated accessible camping field, with viewing platforms at the main stages. Our full accessibility statement has the detail.

Yes — registered carers and personal assistants can apply for a free PA ticket. Email info@valleyfest.co.uk to discuss your access needs and we will sort it.

Both. Accessible camping (free, level pitches by accessible facilities, space for essential vehicles) is a free pitch option in the ticket builder, and accessible parking is close to the gate. Let us know your needs when you book so everything is ready.

Need help carrying kit or crossing the site? Electric trike rides can be arranged on site (donation-based) — details at the info point. Stewards can always radio for help.

24/7 first aid and welfare teams are on site throughout the festival. If you or a friend needs help, find the nearest steward — they can radio the right people fast.

We are committed to a space where everyone feels welcome, valued and safe — zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination or violence of any kind. If something does not feel right, report it to any member of staff. Welfare is open all night.

Music levels are monitored throughout by a specialist team with equipment around the perimeter — daytime levels until 11pm, night-time levels until 2am (1am Sunday). A residents' noise line operates during show days.

Hand in or check at the info point during the festival. Afterwards, email us — we keep a log of everything handed in and will do our best to reunite you.

Contact the nearest steward immediately — our welfare team will help reunite you quickly. We recommend writing your phone number on a wristband or your child's arm on arrival.

Illegal drugs are not permitted, and searches take place at the gates. If you or a friend feel unwell after taking anything, tell welfare or first aid straight away — no judgement, just help.

Valley Fest grew out of The Community Farm, and everything we do aims to leave the land better than we found it — expect talks and experiences around soil, farming, nature, food systems, rewilding and sustainable fashion, mostly on the Regeneration stage.

Zero disposable plastic on site, free water refill points, reusable festival cups, recycling points everywhere, and a Green team of stewards keeping the fields clean. Take your tent and kit home — we do not want a single abandoned tent.

Become a Valley Fest Steward: three six-hour shifts across the weekend in exchange for your festival ticket, meals on shift and a dedicated crew campsite. Positions include general stewarding, gate and wristbanding, the Green team, campsite hosts, family field crew and accessibility support. Registration is open now on Get Involved. A refundable deposit secures your place and comes back after your final shift.
