Valley Fest is a music, food and family festival held on a working organic farm on the shores of Chew Valley Lake in Somerset, 10 miles south of Bristol. Founded as a traditional harvest festival in 2014 by organic farmer Luke Hasell, the festival grew out of The Community Farm and a belief that a party in a field could also be a celebration of the land it stands on. 2027 is the 12th edition; 2025 was a fallow year to rest the farm. Over four days — Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August 2027 — four stages (the Lake Stage, SOS, Kaleidoscope and Regeneration) host headline acts, DJs, dance, comedy and talks from the people growing the future of farming. Food is a headliner in its own right: long-table feasts in the fields, live-fire cooking, Michelin-starred chefs and the best of the South West's producers and street food. There are lakeside saunas, sunrise yoga and wild swimming, and a free programme of workshops, play and adventure for children, with under 6s going free. The festival runs cashless and zero-disposable-plastic, with profits reinvested in sustainability projects on the farm. Tickets and information: valleyfest.co.uk

Brand Guidelines

Naming

  • Always two words, both capitalised: Valley Fest. Never "ValleyFest", "Valleyfest" or "VF".
  • Refer to the year as Valley Fest 2027, not "Valley Fest '27".
  • The site is The Community Farm — not "Valley Farm".

Tone of voice

  • Warm, direct and a bit cheeky — like a farmer who also books bands.
  • Short sentences. Plain words. No hype, no exclamation marks in a row.
  • We talk about the land, the food and the people before we talk about ourselves.

Using the logo

  • Use the supplied files only — never redraw, retype or add effects.
  • Don't stretch, rotate, recolour or outline the wordmark.
  • Don't place it on backgrounds that kill the green — if in doubt, use mono.
  • Keep the clear space (one V-height) on every side.

Colour & imagery

  • Dark backgrounds, green accents. Let photography carry the colour.
  • Real people, real mud, real food — no stock imagery.
  • Keep the cow in the picture whenever you can.
